Our new Self Care Sundays Huddle teaches teens a range of techniques for coping with stress and anxiety.


These pre-recorded sessions will be shared in our private Huddle Facebook group and they’re ideal for ages 12-17 and will be particularly helpful for anyone who is feeling anxious about returning school.

Our Huddle project is running yoga classes for six weeks at Boom Studios. This project is free and available for children aged 8 to 11. 


Children’s yoga is very different to adult yoga. Each class is filled and inspired by stories, songs, imaginative play and activities that engage children to give them tools to feel calmer, happier and more peaceful inside.

Each week will be inspired by a different theme. The class may take a trip to the beach or embark on a magic carpet ride, which will take children on an unknown adventure to many interesting places.

  • Sun Salutations & Moon Salutations

  •  Asana (posture work)

  • Partner and group poses (with social distancing)

  • Yoga games

  • Pranayama (breathing techniques)

  • Savasana (meditation and relaxation)

Each class will include:

Places will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Children's yoga classes are fun, but also filled with building important tools that children can carry with them including:
- Increased body awareness
- Self-calming skills

- Emotional regulation (via breathing and relaxation exercises)

 Oonagh is a qualified child and teen yoga   teacher and an HCPC Art Therapist with over 20   years experience of working with children of   all age groups
